MAWSON'S PARTY WELL. NO NEWS AVAILABLE YET. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright;; [United Press Association.] Adelaide, February 26. The Aurora anchored at the Semaphore. Her return aroused little enthusiasm. A small crowd watched the arrival, and a number of launches, one bearing representatives of the university and another laden with pressmen, went out to the anchorage and greeted the explorers. The pressmen had the .journey for nothing, Dr. Mawson informing them that much information, which would otherwise have been interesting, was exclusive and could not he given out. Considerable indignation is expressed in Australia, which provided a large portion of the funds for the expedition, at being robbed of the right of publishing early information of the doings of tin- explorers. Australia will be compelled to wait until a London paper exercised its exclusive rights of publication. So far as is known, all the explorers returned sate, and much valuable data was secured, but even on these points nothing really detinte is obtainable. Probably the story will be available to-morrow. POLAR TRACEDIES. THE WORLD WILL NOT FORCET. (Received 8.45 a.m.) London, February 2G. The Standard says: Though Mawson's tragedies were eclipsed by Scott's, the world will not willingly let die the story of Mawson and Mertz's heroic struggles. There are few more thrilling pages in polar history.
