At the triennnl mooting of tin National Mutual, the directors' re port was satisfactory. The fund' had increased by £1,805,000, showing a surplus of £650,000, which will bi devoted to paying a dividend to members and to providing reversionary bonuses of £1,100,000, making a to-' tal of bonuses added to policies h\ the Association of over four ami a half millions. THE MAWSON EXPEDITION. (Received 9.45 a.m.) Adelaide, February 26. Mr Way has received a telegram intimating that the Aurora, conveyinp Dr. Mawson's party, passed Cape Borda. A fitting reception will be tendered on arrival. THE WATERSIDERS' UNION. i (Received 9.45 a.m.) Sydney, February 20. A meeting of the Watersidors' Union decided to test "the vote at last Thursday's mass meeting by a secret ballot on the overtime question, and whether the present attitude will be maintained, it being contended that the present position is impossible. Members of the Watersiders' Federation have decided on a certain policy, and the Council calls upon the Sydney branch to fall into line. as the majority accepted Justice Higgins' proposals to resume and the majority must rule.
