THE SUEZ CANAL.
AN IMPROVEMENT SCHEME. By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] ■'imes—SyiiNwr Sun Special Cable* (Received 8 a.m.) London, February 25. The Suez Canal Company expect to complete improvements by 1918, when the canal, will have a greater deptli than any port east of Suez except Sydney.
The scheme provides for a depth of 10ft throughout and a width of 196 ft.
