Scotland, the New Zealand aviator, successfully flew in his Caudron biplane from Invercargill to Gore on Friday evening, the flight occupying about 20 minutes and the average speed being over a mile a minute. A demonstration took place on the Gore Show grounds on Saturday afternoon, and was witnessed by a. large and very enthusiastic crowd. It proved a most successful flight, lasting a quarter of an hour. He flew several times round the show ground. 'I ho maximum height was about 600 ft, and the speed about 55 miles per hour. 1
