Matthews, Gatnlin and Co. report:— On last Wednesday we held our usual weekly sale in our Inglewood yards, and had a good yarding of stock, most of which was disposed of at the hammer. Wo quote: Store cows £2 16s 6d to £3 6s, 18 month heifers £2 8s to £2 12s 6d, 18 month steers £2 11s 6d to £3 6s, 21 year steers £4 11s to £5 ss, bulls £4, weaners 19s 6cl to 38s 6d, mixed aged ewes os to 8s 6d, lambs 4s, 7s lid to 9s 2d. WHEAT AND TALLOW. *V New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have jeceived the following cablegram from their London House under date 18th instant:— Tallow.—We quote present spot val - ues for the following descriptions:— Good mutton 35s 3d per cwt., good beef 34s 3d, mixed 32s 9d.
