Mr Justice Higgins has resumed the compulsory conforonco in the Shipping dispute. Mr Hughes notified him of the result of the men’s decision in regard to.overtime work. As the position is complicated owing to want of unanimity in tho voting ho asked for a week’s adjournment. In the meantime the Waterside Federation ask tho members to resume under normal conditions, pending an arbitration award. Mr Justice Higgins agreed to resume the hearing on Friday.
