. o YOUNG TO BE RE-TRIED. [Per Press Association.] Wellington, February 19. After four hours' retirement, the Supreme Court' jury disagreed in the case of W. T. Young, charged with sedition, and a new trial was ordered for the May sessions, Young to be released on £IOO bail at the completion of the three months' imprisonment he is now serving. THE CUSTOMS FRAUDS. Christchurch, February 19. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of another Customs cleric in connection with the Customs frauds. One suspect has disappeared. LIQUOR FOR NATIVES. Dargaville, February 20. At the S.M. Court three men, Andrews, White and Davis, pleaded guilty to supplying liquor to natives at the Tatarariki regatta, and each was fined £2O and 9s costs.
