STRATFOR MOTORING CLUB.
The Stratford Motoring Club has the fine entry of 17 motor cyclists for its speed judging trial to be held on Thursday. The sub-committee appointed met last night and drew up the list of speeds at which the competitors are to travel and also selected a good course. / The competitors will be despatched from the Loan and Mercantile corner at 2 p.m. sharp and must be all assembled at 1.45 p.m. Cards and numbers will be given before starting, there are five h.p. B.S.A. machines, three 3* Triumphs, three 2| Douglas, one 3i L.M.C., one 3J Swift, one 3i Royal Ruby, one 8 horse Rex, one 3J King Dick, and one 3£ twin cylinder Matchless. Nearly all the machines are new and up-to-date, and an interesting trial should result. It is the intention of the Club to organise a hill climbing competition in the very near future, and also to hold several other competitions of a novel and interesting nature. Competitors will please note that anyone who is not at the starting point at the time appointed will not be allowed to compete.
