NEWTON KING'S WEEKLY REPORT. On Friday, 6th inst., at my Kohuratiihi yards, for my annual sheep fair and cattle sale, 1 had a good entry of both sheep and cattle with a good attendance from all parts, making good competition for most lines offered. On Monday, 9th inst., for my Frenui sheep fair, I had a good entry, which, whilst not so large as of previous years, was composed of good sheep, and 1 was able to sell the majority at very satisfactory prices. Some good lambs were yarded, these meeting with good competition, as also did full mouthed ewes and fats. TARANAKI WOOL, SKIN, HIDE AND TALLOW SALE. MR NEWTON KING'S REPORT. On Tuesday, February 10th, T held my usual four weekly sale of above produce, the catalogue comprising 205 bales and 235 sacks frool, 2139 sheepskins, 18 casks and 39 tins tallow, 613 hides, 421 calfskins, and the usual assortment of hair, tails, etc. The attendance of buyers was good, and competition with the exception of that for seedy linos of wool, was keen and spirited. Wool.—As shown above there was a large catalogue. Good clean crossbred fleece was in keen demand, and advanced .}d per II). As is usual at this time of the year, many of the bales, especially lambs wool, were showing plenty of seeds and cotts, badly seedy being hard of sale. I sold one bale fleece at 73d, 3 at Bd, 61 at B|d, 78 at Bkl, 4 at Bjd, and 4 at 9d, lambs, 1 at sd, 2 at GJd, 16 at Sid. 5 at S-Jd, and 2 at 9d. Sheepskins.—An irregular market, full wool and lambs skins par to jd higher, faulty lines and rough pelts \A to fd lower. Hides.--Ox at par with late rates, cow Jd to fd lower, yearlings \<\ to Id lower, farmers' cow fd to IJd lower.
