TORTURED IN MONGOLIA.
THE TREATMENT OF PRISONERS. fBY Eleoteio Telegraph—Copyright] Times—Sydney Sun Special Cables (Received 8 a.m.) London, February 14.
Mrs Bulstrade, who traversed Mongolia in a caravan, states that the prisons and dungeons there contain a number of refined Chinese, who are shut up for life in heavy iron-bound coffins, which do not permit them to sit upright or lie down. They only see daylight for a few minutes daily when food is thrown into the coffins, through a small hole.
