SWECviMINC. HANDICAP CHAMPION CUP. The 50yds distance of the Handicap Champion Cup was completed last night. For the convenience oi' four men unable to compete when the preliminary heats took place an extra heat was swum. Also started : Bishop (6sec), Lawrence (13sec). Time, 13 2-ssee. First semi-final: E. H. Kivell (ser) 1, Whittington (lOsec) 2. Also started: Spratt 'Osec), Kelly (lOsec). Time, 40 2-asee. Second semi-final: B. V. Kivell (ssee) 1, Curtis (2sec) 2. Also started: C. M. Kivell (lsee), .Jones (osec)- Time 35 4-ssec. Final: Whittington 1, E. H. Kivell 2, P. V. Kivell -'5. Time, 40sec. The points for the Cup therefore are as follow: Whittington 3, E. H. Kivell 2, B. V. Kivell f. It is intended to swim the preliminary heats of the 75yds distance this evening. The final is to be swum at the carnival on the 17th. Final arrangements for the carnival will ho made at a meeting of the committee which is to be held this even:ng. TENNSS. STRATFORD TENNSS CLUB.
