TARANAKI SHOW.

Taranaki Show! There Ts a magnetism about these words that leads people on to inquire further into the working of this important fixture. The headquarters of this Association are in the secretary's office, Currie Street. New Plymoiiih; and just now this office is a hive of industry, with the procession of people making entries, which close on Saturday, February 14th. There is only one week before the closing of entries, and in'ending exhibitors should get in early. Splendid provision is being made for the comfort and care of all stock shown, so that exhibitors need have no anxiety in this respect. The prize money allotted to this fixture compares very favorably with that of any other show in the Dominion, and in itself should be an inducement to those who possess anything of merit. The show of dogs "usually congregated is acknowledged by experts to be the finest collection of canines brought together in New Zealand. Practically all the champions of New Zealand are seen exhibiting themselves. Exhibitors are apparently aware of the benefits derived from the showing of dogs at this Taranaki Show, realising as they do that the advertisement contained'in the catalogue more than compensates them for their entry fee, as the dogs' pedigree, date of birth, breeder, and exhibitor, etc., are all contained therein. Schedules will be posted to any address on appligation to the Secretary, P.O. box 19, New Plymouth.
