Printed Papers (including Books and Magazines, not registered).—All places, id per 2oz. Magazines (registered), inland, id for every Boz. or fraction thereof. Foreign, id per 2oz. or fraction thereof. One end must be ieft open. Commercial Papers.—Town (for accounts, etc., only) id for 2ozs., or Id for first 4oz. and id each succeeding 2oz. Inland, Id for first 40z., and id lor each succeeding 2oz. All other places lOoz. 2id, and id for ©very additional 2oz. (Open for inspection). Registration—2d additional for nil places.
Newspapers.— Town and Inland. $d each, United Kingdom, Australia/, Canada, Ceylon, India, Jamaica, Natal. Orange Raver, South Sea Islands, and Transvaal, id each paper. If under ?oz. sent by first available route; over Sv., sent by direct steamer only; uu-'c-ss specially addressed and paid at rate of id for first 4oa. and id for each smreeding 2oz. All other places Id each under 4oz. and id each extra 2oz. TELEPHONES. Charges —At exchanges continuousopen—Business establishments, £7 ; private residences, £5 per annum .Exchanges not continuously open, au equal charge of £5. Telephone Exchanges at Auckland. Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill, Napier, Hastings, Palmerston North, and Wanganui are open a!! day and all night. The other Exchanges chiefly from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PARCEL POST.
