At a big Protestant demonstration, resolutions were carried expressing loyalty to the Throne, and solemnly protesting against the establishment of Home Rule in Ireland, the meeting pledging itself to stand by their compatriots in Ulster and other parts of Ireland in the desperate defence now- forced upon them. A copy or the resolution, is to be forwarded to the King.
