\| THE OLYMPIC GAMES

At the Olympic representatives' conference just concluded, the headquarters of the Federation were fixed for Sydney for the next four years. The new council, consisting of three New South Wales members, two each from Victoria, Queensland and South Australia, and one from Tasmania, were elected. 4 lu the event of New Zealand reconsidering her decision to hold aloof from the Federation, two additional delegates will be appointed to represent the Dominion. The Conference asked .Mr Coombes, representing Australia, and New Zealand on the International Olympic Committee, to attend the Congress in Paris in .June. The Australian delegates to this Congress will be instructed to ask for a reduction in the number of competitors representing a nation, for a more equitable allotment of the points, for no minimum age for competitors, for the inclusion of boxing and wrestling, and an open boat sailing event on the standard programme.
