Inspector Chose, who lias taken ;i prominent part in political cases in Calcutta, was shot dead in the street by a student. The assassin was arrested. NESTS OF CONSPIRACY. (Received 9.5 a.m.) Calcutta, January 20. The police holive that the murder indicates a whole series of further nests of conspiracy in northern Calcutta. Inspector Gliose's orderly pursued and captured a second assailant.
