The Niagara is putting up a fresh record between Sydney and Auckland. A wireless message states that she will arrive at 5 p.m., which gives the ■time of three days and two. hours and a-half for the trip, with an average speed of 17.5 knots per hour. On the first day the Niagara steamed under adverse conditions.
