THE OHURA ROAD.
LOAN FOR RE-METALLING. A meeting of ratepayers in the Central Riding of the Whangainomoim County Council, held yesterday, decided to apply' for a loan of £2500 for the re-metalling of the Ohura Road in the Central Riding; and it was also decided that the main road settlers provide half and the by-road settlers half 'of the necessary rate. An extended report of the proceedings will appear to-morrow.
