Official unemployment statistics show that as the result of the Tripoli war, there is an alarming increase in the number of unemployed. In maintowns from 25 to 50 per cent, are out
of work. The wintry weather is increasing the crisis. More have emigrated in the halt year than in the whole of the previous year.
