The rebels advance! and , fought hotly round the trenches, and the Federals fled, some crossing the American border. Ojinaga was evacuated after considerable loss of life. The rebels are occupying the last stronghold whereon President Huerta relied. In Northern Mexico, General Mercado, President Huerta’s military chief, crossed the river and surrendered to the United States troops.
