[By Electric Telegraph- Copyright [United Prkhs Association.] (Received 8.0 a.m.) New York, January 4. Denver papers assert that Paderewiski, the famous pianist, fled that city owing to the fear that he was followed by Nihilists, who were threatening his life. He went in a private cur to Colorado Springs, guarded by six Burn's' detectives. It is not expected that he will appear, and the money for admission to his performances paid has been returned to the audience.
