THE CHILDREN’S HEALTH.
INSPECTING SYDNEY SCHOOLS. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Sydney, December 30. The Minister for Education, reviewing tlio year’s work in tbe schools, said that the medical inspection scheme had produced,/some striking results. In one suburban school 75 per cent, of the children who were examined suffered from defects of the throat and nose, while another GOO out of 800 had some physical disorder. Though the figures were startling they were not alarming, because the bulk of the defects discovered could be remedied if taken in time.
