AN IMPORTANT DECISION. [Per Press 'Association.] Auckland," December 30. The Racing Appeal Court to-day heard an appeal lodged by F Hall against the decision of the Avondale Jockev Club that J. Hili was the breeder of Castalia. Hall N purchased Error Roe, served by Marble Arch, the filly Castalia being tiie res.nt. 'He youngster won the Avondale Stakes, one of the conditions of whu-h was

Hall also claimed the amou.it on the ground that the owner at the time of foaling was the breeder. The Avondale Club decided in Hill's favour, &t the Racing Appeal Court to-day reversed the decision, and decided that Hall was the breeder.
