EARLY THIS MORNING. [Per Press Association.] Eltham, December 24. A sharp earthquake shock was felt here about 1.30 last night. Marton, December 24. There was a rather heavy earthquake at 2.30 this morning. Blenheim, December 24.

A severe earthquake was experienced at 2.30 this morning. Hawera, December 21. A prolonged earthquake shock was felt here at 2.30 o’clock this morning. Inglewood, December 21. A prolonged earthquake shock was felt here at 2.30 this morning. It was not severe and no damage is reported yet. Wellington, December 24. Prolonged and severe earthquake shocks are reported practically from all over the Dominion at 2.30 this morning. A fairly severe earthquake was felt by Stratford residents at 2.50, a.m. to-day. ; The movement Wat’ from west to east, but was of a s ttfild nature. The chief feature of flu shock was its long duration.
