WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: The indications are for southerly winds squally at times and backing by west to north. The weather will probably be dull and overcast with coastal showers. The barometer has a rising tendency, but falling after 24 hours. Prospects of the weather being very unfavorable for Xmas.
