The proposal to send a team of German players to visit Australia has been revived. The difficulties which prevented a visit this year have been removed. The Tennis Association therefore decided to ask the German Association to send four players to tour Australia and possibly Now Zealand towards the end of next year.
The Association also made preliminary arrangements for the Davis Cup matches next year. A challenge lias been forwarded to the United States Association.
Messrs Brookes, Hicks and Anderson were elected a selection committee. A cheque for £894 was received as Australia’s share in the Davis Cup match, hut the sum of £l2O is still to come. v
