WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: The indications, are for variable and strong breezes and northerly strong to gale, but changing to a
southerly after about 24 hours. Heavy rain is to be expected. Barometer has a. falling tendency, but will rise after about 24 hours.
