ON THE KWANTU MARU.
ACCUSED HANGS HIMSELF.

Higashihara, boatswain of the Japanese collier, Kiwantu Maru, who is alleged to have murdered a seaman of that vessel on the voyage from Newcastle, was found hanged in his eel I aboard the ship. Ho had evidently committed suicide.
