POSTAL CONFERENCE.
A STRIKE POLICY DEFEATED.

Jl conference of postal employees at Leicester renewed the demand for a fifteen, per cent increase, but rejected by a 1 ■■majority of two the proposals to adopt a strike policy and make a compact with the railwaymen, miners and transporters. The conference empowered the delegates to request the national joint committee to summon a .postal congress.
