At the Hawera Show, J. S. Oughton COkaiawa) won he championship tor entire draught, not J. D. .Mitchell, as previously despatched a Press Association telegram to-day). Mitchell secured the reserved champion. A reminder is given of the meeting to be held in the Borough Council Chambers to-night to make arrangements for recognising suitably Mr W. Morant Bayly's services to the town. It is well known that the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand strongly advocate No-License in the individual electorate and prohibition for the Dominion, and for the furtherance of this scheme the Temperance Committee of the Assembly has appointed a Sabbath in November as "Temperance Sunday." In accordance with that object the Rev. J. Pattison will preach at St. Andrew's Church on Sunday evening on "Why I believe in No-License."
