Mr Bonar Law, at Dublin, to-day insisted that the Unionists opposed completely as ever the whole idea of any [separation of the United Kingdom, land demanded a general'election. The Manchester' Guardian advises the Government not to let the last ' hours outrun before they made up I their minds as to the lines of their 1 suggestions on which Ulster may proI ceed. The Liberals were not preparied to go the full length of asserting I the nation's authority unless they were perfectly sure all the resources of statesmanship have been exhausted.
