vaulting liis wife, ami (4) assaulting Hie matron of the Institute. The jury, tier deliberating for about two hours, isked to he re-directed on the question of intent. This his Honor did. iml the jury returned a verdict ol vnilty on 'all four counts, adding the strongest possible recommendation to nercv on account of the provocation ■eceived hv the accused.
His Honor said that he agreed with L he recommendation, and would give ■he case very careful consideration. He ordered Nicholson *to tie brought up ’’or sentence on Tuesday.
