DIES FOR DUTY’S SAKE. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright! [United Press Association.] (Received 11.15 a.m) New, York, November 24. The steam chest of the Philidelphia express exploded. William Carr, the driver, remained at Ins post although suffering agonies through scalds. He brought the train to a standstill, and then dropped unconscious. Ho was I taken to the hospital, but died from his injuries. Had he not stopped the train, It would probably have been wrecked.
