Thomas Mackenzie states that the U.S.A. authorities agree to accept New Zealand meat transhipped from Britain without indelible stampin'.'. provided the wording on the tags indicates ante-mortem examination aivl freedom from chemical preserva-tives,-and that the tags are securely fixed with wire and a seal.
