Sixty-five suffragettes formed a depu-: tation to President Wilson, demanding that he make the suffrage a national question. They also demanded the appointment of a committee to push the amendment now pending before the Senate. The President stated that the appointment of a House committee to press the question forward is about to be decided upon.
MORE ARRESTS.
London, November 17
Misses Doyle, Murray and B6ileau, and Mrs Kerr, after leaving a petition at Downing Street demanding the release of suffragettes on conditions similar to those obtaining in the release of Larkin, the Dublin. Labor leader, were arrested for persisting in addressing a meeting at the Horse Guards Parade.
