Mr and Mrs E. Marfell, of Toko road, who have been on an extended tour of the Old Country, returned to Stratford by last night's mail train.

Lieut. Col. Pringle has been appointed to the command of Queen Alexandra's Mounted Rifles, vice Lieut.-Col. Davis, transferred to the reserve of officers.

Mr Cedric Keith Rohinson, of Stratford has been granted a license by the Surveyors' Board. The issue, of fourteen such licenses to surveyors in various parts of the country is notified in the latest Gazette.
