CARNAL KNOWLEDGE. [Per Press Association.! Dannevirke, November 1. Walter James Hasler was arrested at Kaitoke on Friday and remanded to appear at Pongaroa on Tuesday next on a charge of carnal knowledge of 12-year-old girl at Puketoi on Wednesday last. Accused, a young man, said he desired to plead guilty to save the production of witnesses, but a remand was granted to enable some evidence to be taken and then to send him on to the Supreme Court.
