THE HUNTLY STRIKE.

EVERYTHING QUIET.

[Per Press Association ] Hamilton, October 29

There are no fresh developments at Huntly. The town is very quiet. A mass meeting of men was held, when a telegram was read from the Blackball miners sympathising with them and condemning the action of the engine drivers in not turning out. No word has yet been received from the Federation, though it is expected daily that the stores will stop giving credit for goods, which the men consider is the work of the Employers Association.
