ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
RAILWAY MAN INJURED. [Per Press Association.] Wellington, October 10. While engaged in shunting operations at Paekakariki this morning, an engine-driver named Edward Moroney was badly injured. He missed his footing as he was climbing into the engine cab, which was moving, and Moroney was crushed against the wal. of a shed. He was brought to the Wellington Hospital and is suffering from a fractured pelvis. A BROKEN LEG. ' Wellington, October 10. William Shipcott, a single man, had his leg broken by a fall of earth at Karori this afternoon. A TRAP FATALITY. Hastings, October 11. Annie Webb, aged 54, who was thrown from a trap on Wednesday, succumbed to the injuries this morning-
