The Rev. A. Lawry graphically described Christianisation among the Maoris.
Reports from all parts of the world have announced a vigorous spread of Methodism.
Lord Stamfordham, the King's secretary, on behalf of the King, wrote that His Majesty recognises the re-! ligious and philanthropic work so universally extended by the Method- 1 ist Missionary Society in promitins; the noble aims of Christianity, and offers his hearty congratulations on the high results achieved in the hun-i dred years of its ministry.
