A SCHOOLBOY'S MURDER.

[By Electric Telesraph—Copyright)

lUnitkd Pbebs Association.! (Received ( a.m.)

Melbourne, October 8

When the boy Freeman was arrested on a charge or*murdering Anderson, at Wharparilla, he maintained that the deed was committed by the thrill boy. The police, with a view to testing the credibility of his words, brought Freeman into the presence of a boy attending the same school as Anderson. Freeman, by signs, indicated that this boy murdered Anderson. The boy, unperturbed, laughed and said that he was driving sheep on the day of the murder. The police fully verified this statement, and the boy was not detained.
