RECOGNITION BY THE POWERS.
[By Electric telegraph—Copyright] [United Press association..? (Received 8.15 a.m.) Peking, October 5. Parliament elects the President on Monday. The Powers will then simultaneously recognise the Republic. Japan is primarily responsible for the recogntion. Japan's relations with China have greatly improved.
