A UNION BOAT HELD UP.

Wellington, October 6
The Union Company's Kittawa was held up for several hours on Saturday through a dispute about the manning of the engineroom and stokehold. The demand was that an extra man, to act as greaser and trimmer, .should be shipped in order not to delay .the vessel's 'departure any longer. The. local manager. of the Company conceded the demand, and the Kittawa sailed lit 5.30 R.m. for Greymouth.
