At Randwick in the final gallops Beau Soult, carrying a good weight and associated by two others, ran a mile in lmin 43;Jsee., fiuishing well. Radnor beat Minora Ladly over a mile in lmin Midnight Sun went s' rongly on the tan. Cider did seven furlongs in lmin 28see, equalling tpe record. Cagou ran ten furlongs in imin 21sec with a lot in hand. Duke Foote ran 10 furlrtngs in 2nun-easily. Cmperador and Banksia ran a tiilo on the tan in lmin 46sec, Emperador winning comfortably. "Woolerina outclassed John Niel' home in a mile, which was covered in lmin 47sec. Beragoon easily beat Matoaree over 10 furlings in 2min 14isec, going particularly well. Soltano ran a mile comfortably in lmin 44sec, badly beating Oaptain White, which is a very satisfactory ending to Soltano's preparation. Alured ran seven furlongs in Lmin 29isec with something in hand, iigandra went strongly on the tan. Sir Vive, with two assistants, did 10 iirlongs in 2min 12£sec; it was a takng performance. Tofua did eix furongs in lmin 15sec,, finishing in great ;tyle and equalling the record. Sir Daniel, with a fair weight up, ran (even furlongs in lmin 29sec.
