Gray's high class stock of men's and boys' clothing' and mercery,, bought at the ridieulouslv low price'of 12s 6d in the £. Mr Gray, who traded under the style of "The Kash," corner of Ridgewav Street and the Avenue. Wansjanui, was noted for the excellence of his stock, and we have no hesitation in inviting to this sale all those accustomed to buying only the very best of goods. As the price paid for the stock indicates, we are placed in that happy position of being able to sell the stock at under original cost price and then make a handsome profit. We are not', however, seeking "handsome" nrofits and in marking down the stock we have had in view nothing hut the sole object of turning the stock into ready money as soon as possible. Bearing this in mind, we have merely added'our usual small working profit with the result that sale prices reveal the rr-ost astounding bargains ever placed before the Taranaki public.
