The Admiralty has decided to revert to the custom of naming ships after naval celebrities. All the destroyers, past, present, and future -are being officially grouped into classes,each having the class letter painted on the foreimost funnel. The names of thirteen destroyers on the 1913 programme have ibeen announced and ten include those of famous naval'officers. SEPARATING THE SEXES. (Received 8 a.m.) London, October 2, Owing to suffragettes' complaint, the Commissioner of Police has decided that men and women should be conveyed in separate vans to police courts and to prisons.
