A rain stornv flo'oded the subways and popped'traffic for several hours. Two persons were electrocuted -While operating an electric train system oil the Brooklyn bridge. The pedestrian traffic is the greatest since the bridge lias been opened as a traction bridge. The companies are helpless.
Four men were buried in a .sewer which caved in. They were rescued aiivo:;
Lightning* fired all elevator railway train, but the heavy rain extinguished the flames before damage was done. There has been considerable property loss, amounting to millions of dollars.
