The operatives have closed the Beehive cotton mill at Bolton, alleging tyranny bv one of the overseers. The, Master Cotton Spinners’ Federation threaten a general lock-out of the whole trade, resenting the operatives dictating who shall he placed in authority over them. The Beehive workers acted against the advice of their lenders, who admit that they have lout control.
