Mr Ellis, presiding at a statutory meeting of the Consolidated Diesel Company, paid a tribute to Diesel, and condoled with his relatives. Some of the shareholders asked what had become of the capital, and complained of the chairman’s silence as to the prospect of dividends. Mr Carels outlined the prospects of the company, nad the meeting adjourned.
