WANGANUI AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION.

The programme for the Wanganui; Agricultural Ssliow,. which takes place on Wednesday .and Thursday, 19th? and 20th November next, is to hand. The Asspciatiiou, >is to be, complimented on the-way-they have catered fdr every .class .of exhibitor from .the horse breeder to the sheep and cattle man, with ample provision for the dairyman, classes for every kind and dessciption of the canine tribe; then the produce and wool classes' provide for another important sectioA; and last but not least is the home industries department, art and technical schools, photogrophy and public schools competitions, which embrace such a multiplicity of classes that, there is no man,, woman, or child in the district who may not make an exhibit. The Association have also provided a firstclass spectacular programme for each day. There are -the gents’ driving competition, tandem driving, maiden leaping and pony leaping competitions on the first day, whilst on the second there are the binding competition, ladies’ driving, walking competition, leaping competition (steeplechase style), and leaping competitions for ladies. In addition, there is a class for the champion hack, for which the prize is Mr James Coombes’ gold while Mr James Brownlee generally donates £5 5s to the champion harness horse. Entries for all events close on sth November. Programmes of Show may be obtained at this office or on application to the secretary, Mr Selby Morton, Bpx 152, Wanganui.
